NASCAR
CLIENT: FOX SPORTS
We designed a graphic language filled with big color, big type and big textures to embody the spirit of NASCAR. All of the textures used were inspired by the sport of racing - sparks, bubbling asphalt, paint tearing, elements of the track and more.
CONTROLLED CHAOS
It was a fun challenge taking the rip-roaring animation style and bottling it into a toolkit. Every paint stroke, camera shake and color scheme had to be rigged and controllable for NASCAR to take our animation system and run with it. In other words, controlled chaos.
We built out a full broadcast toolkit to give the client full control over the graphic look across every single race.
